Tacka collects nothing about you.
Last updated: July 2026
Tacka is a sticky-notes app that runs entirely on your Mac. It has no account, no sign-up, and no analytics. This page explains what that means in plain terms.
What Tacka collects
Nothing. Tacka does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. There is no account to create and no profile to fill in.
Where your notes live
Your notes, images, and settings are stored locally on your Mac, inside the app's sandbox container. They never leave your device and are never uploaded to us or anyone else. Automatic backups are also written to your own Mac. If you delete the app, that data goes with it.
No tracking, no analytics
Tacka contains no analytics frameworks, no advertising SDKs, no crash-reporting services, and no third-party trackers. We do not know when or how often you use the app.
Purchases
Tacka Pro is a one-time purchase handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. Apple processes the payment. Tacka only receives a yes-or-no signal about whether Pro is unlocked on your Apple ID. We never see your name, email, card, or any payment detail. Apple's own privacy policy covers that transaction.
Network access
The only time Tacka connects to the internet is to reach Apple's App Store servers to load the Pro product and to restore a purchase. It makes no other network requests.
Children
Because Tacka collects no data at all, it is safe for users of any age.
Changes to this policy
If Tacka ever adds a feature that changes how data is handled, such as optional multi-Mac sync, this page will be updated first and the change will be opt-in. The pay-once, collect-nothing stance is the default.
